Epic Games Downtime for v32.00 Update
On November 2, 2024, Epic Games has scheduled a v32.00 update for most of the popular titles under its wing, including Fortnite and Rocket League. The maintenance window is intended to fall from 06:00 to 13:00 UTC and is planned to include major updates, patches, and new content for the platform, which will include some downtime for multi-game services and features.

- **Games/Services Affected:
- Fortnite: The following basic functionalities will not be available: Item Shop, Fortnite Crew, Voice Chat, Matchmaking, Friends and Messaging, among others.
- LEGO Fortnite: The matchmaking services will also be down for maintenance, which means the game won’t be playable for that amount of time.
- Rocket League Racing: Matchmaking will be unavailable during the maintenance window.
Other titles, such as Fall Guys, Rocket League, and Rocket League Sideswipe are still accessible to players, as are the majority of key features within the Epic Games Store and Epic Online Services.
Login problems among others
Concomitantly, since October 28, 2024, the problem of a user’s Facebook log-in credentials has faced Epic Games. Currently, this issue prevents players from logging into their Epic Games accounts using their Facebook credentials, though other linked login methods are still available. Epic Games is working on this issue and will provide further updates as the company works toward a fix.
